Capacity Region of the Compound Multiple Access Channels with Common Message and in the Presence of Intersymbol Interference

چکیده
The capacity region of a two-user linear Gaussian compound Multiple Access Channel with common message (CMACC) and intersymbol interference (ISI) under an input power constraint is derived. To obtain the capacity region we first convert the channel to its equivalent memoryless one by defining an n-block memoryless circular Gaussian CMACC model. We then make use of the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) to decompose the nblock circular Gaussian CMACC into a set of independent parallel channels whose individual capacities can be found easily. Finally we derive the capacity of this n-block memoryless circular Gaussian CMACC (n-CGCMACC) based on the DFT decomposition. Since our channel is a special case of a synchronous multi-terminal channel, the capacity region of the Gaussian CMACC with ISI is the same as the capacity region of the n-CGCMACC in the limit of infinite block length. We also investigate the capacity regions for some special cases of the Gaussian CMACC with ISI using the obtained capacity region, and finally, provide some numerical results to show the loss in the rate caused by ISI. Gaussian Z Channel with Intersymbol Interference
In this paper, we derive a capacity inner bound for a synchronous Gaussian Z channel with intersymbol interference (ISI) under input power constraints. This is done by converting the original channel model into an n-block memoryless circular Gaussian Z channel (n-CGZC) and successively decomposing the n-block memoryless channel into a series of independent parallel channels in the frequency dom...
متن کاملExtension of the Coverage Region of Multiple Access Channels by Using a Relay
From practical and theoretical viewpoints, performance analysis of communication systems by using information-theoretic results is important. In this paper, based on our previous work on Multiple Access Channel (MAC) and Multiple Access Relay Channel (MARC), we analyze the impact of a relay on the fundamental wireless communications concept, i.e., coverage region of MARC, as a basic model for u...
متن کاملOn The Secrecy of the Cognitive Interference Channel with Channel State
In this paper the secrecy problem in the cognitive state-dependent interference channel is considered. In this scenario we have a primary and a cognitive transmitter-receiver pairs. The cognitive transmitter has the message of the primary sender as side information. In addition, the state of the channel is known at the cognitive encoder. Hence, the cognitive encoder uses this side information t...

We derive the two-user capacity region with and without common information for a Gaussian broadcast channel with intersymbol interference, assuming colored Gaussian noise and an input power constraint. The proof is achieved by rst deening a similar channel model, the circular broadcast channel, which can be decomposed into a set of parallel degraded broadcast channels. The capacity region for p...
متن کاملMultiple Access Channels with Cooperative Encoders and Channel State Information
cooperative encoders and Channel State Information (CSI) is considered where two different scenarios are investigated: A two-user MAC with common message (MACCM) and a two-user MAC with conferencing encoders (MACCE). For both situations, the two cases where the CSI is known to the encoders either non-causally or causally are studied. Achievable rate regions are established for both discrete mem...
